I got more than what I paid for to be done ( Topped off my coolant) prices are amazing mechanics there truly care about their work and most importantly know what they are doing. I saw 6 customers come in and out with a smile ready to leave with their car. I will be back to there soon to get my car tuned up. If you have any model Honda i really recommend you bring your car up there with them, Maintenance prices are awesome they care about your car lasting longer than the dealer does they’ll make the time to see your car ( if they can ) as they did with me. Great place to get your Acura worked on. We took in our 2015 RDX for service (again) and received excellent service. Shane called and explained in detail everything they saw and why they needed to update some items. We had an issue with the passenger airbag and Shane figured out it must have been the battery because he couldn't get the error to come up again after replacing it. From my first step through the door and talk with Mike, I immediately knew I was in the right place. I know vehicles pretty well and Mike and his team knew every intricate detail.I went into the shop knowing what I wanted done and I wanted a good price. Mike worked with me. After his team got started on the car Mike made me aware of some other issues they identified while doing the once over on the car. While this work did add to my total bill, it was necessary.There is a 3% surcharge on all credit cards used, but you should turn your ire towards the credit card companies and not the small business. There is also a cash and check price as well, so there are ways out of the surcharge.Mike communicated with me the whole time my car was in his possession. It’s a family owned business and it shows. They care for their customers and make you feel like family. Nothing like having a neighborhood mechanic you can trust. To top it off, i’m pretty sure they washed my car for me. That was the icing on the cake. My car drives and runs like it came off the lot 19 years ago.Appreciate AutoWave!

I dunno, roughly 8 years ago or less, I had my 2002 Ep3 Civic Si transmission totally rebuilt here. I had bought the car almost new from the dealer and still had allot of the warranty remaining. So, any time I had to shift into 3rd a little faster than usual, it would always grind in really bad. It would sound horrible and also ppl would look at me like I didn't know wtf I was doing lol. It wasn't just 3rd either. It was reverse once in a while and starting the car sometimes would make a noise as if I had tried turning the key again after it was already started. Anyways, no matter how many times I took the car into the dealer for work, they could never "reproduce" the 3rd gear problem. I even offered to drive it to show them. NOPE! Well fast forward roughly 3 or 4 years and now the warranty is gone and of course the tranny goes out. First, I can't shift into 3rd, then I couldn't shift into reverse. GO FIGURE LOLI had the same issue with my 2000 Prelude SH model but luckily I found a fairly newly used SH tranny at a Honda dismantler and it went in PERFECT. It made my 2000 Prelude a beast again. Anyways, so back to my 2002 Civic Si. Honda wanted thousands of $ for the work and I said NOPE! I searched and found Auto wave. I took a chance and left my gal with them for a few weeks. It wasn't the cheapest BUT IT WAS THE BEST QUALITY SERVICE I'VE EVER HAD ON ANY HONDA I'VE EVER OWNED! They had one old man rebuild my tranny from scratch which blew me away (still ZERO problems with the tranny, no 3rd gear grinds, NOTHING!) This is going on almost 10 years now with no oil change and my first clutch change I'm doing tomorrow. They also replaced my cams or cam and several other things. I was 100% happy.Don't let the price scare you off! They do the work right the first time! I mean, they're used to working on NSX, SUPED UP S2000s, Honda beast motors, etc... They also put mechanics with certain cars or projects that they're familiar with so the job goes smooth, such as my transmission rebuild. I couldn't recommend them enough for someone who loves their Honda!I'm actually going back tomorrow to ask about a clutch replacement haha

If you are a Honda owner this is the place to go for any and all your services. Back in 2013 I had electrical issues with our 2008 Pilot and it was an elusive problem that every mechanic that I went to from Sears (I had a new Die Hard Battery) to my own trusted mechanic to a Honda dealership could not find the source of the issue. A work associate recommended Autowave so I gave them a shot, they too were baffled at first but Shane was persistent and after much testing was going to replace the alternator but at the last minute decided to try replacing the battery (which was testing normal) and that solved the problem saving me a lot of money. Because they are kind of far from my home (I live in Garden Grove) I haven't been back since then and I had a very good mechanic close by that recently retired and closed up the shop, which leads me to my current service. So I have been searching for a good local mechanic for 4 years now and have not found one that I am totally satisfied with. The mechanic that I have been using had new mechanics and service writers every time that I had one of my vehicles serviced and they always recommended a lot of extra repairs that were very expensive, also they were very sloppy, because they were just plain careless and didn't clean up properly I always had residual oil dripping from my undercarriage of both my vehicles that NEVER dripped oil before. I decided to go back to Autowave with my Pilot for a second opinion of the work the previous mechanic recommended and they confirmed many of the repairs and found a few other major issues. This is the work that was done: Oil Change, Air Filter, Replace Battery AC Delco, Replace Front & Rear Shocks Front Strut Boots & Bump Stops, Replace Front Sway Bar End Links, 4 Wheel Alignment, Transmission Service, Replace Front Cam Plug-O-Ring, Replace Air Intake Tube & Perform Throttle Body Service, Replace Driver side Window Washer Nozzel (no charge). Now this was not cheap BUT the big thing was 12 years later the same mechanics were still there, Shane is still there (I actually had Mike as my service writer this time) and I felt comfortable with their work and their findings. The results are my Pilot rides a lot smoother, runs a little better and DOES NOT drip oil on my driveway. My only negative to add is they don't work on anything but Hondas and I still have to find a reputable mechanic for my F150, but honestly that is probably a good negative to have.

They suggested additional work, that in my opinion, would not be able to have been performed elsewhere at any price. My car is now in exceptional condition. Autowave has earned the trust of Honda and Acura aficionados for 40 years; as a choosy Honda owner, I’ve trusted Autowave for everything from supercharging my S2k to repairing the air conditioner in our family’s ‘08 CR-V. When the air conditioner was not blowing cold, Autowave accurately diagnosed the root of the problem and replaced the leaking Schroder valves instead of a more costly repair. If you’ll indulge me for a story, everything started in around 2017 when I fulfilled a childhood dream of supercharging my beloved S2k, putting over 300 prancing ponies under the hood, lab-verified on their dyno. Another shop replaced the clutch, but Autowave noticed the shop failed to properly bolt the steering coupler, meaning the steering could have broken loose at any moment of spirited canyon carving, causing me to careen off the road. Needless to say Autowave did more than bolt a steering coupler that momentous day in 2017, they earned my loyalty and quite possibly saved my life. Looking back now hundreds of thousands of miles later, I trust Autowave with the safety of my family. Even though I make the trek all the way from Ventura County, Autowave makes trip worthwhile with candid shop talk and excellent service.
